چکیده
This paper shows simulations of high waves over different bathymetries to collect statistical information, particularly kurtosis and crest exceedance, that quantifies the occurrence exceptionally extreme waves. knowledge is especially pertinent for design operation marine structures, safe ship trafficking, mooring strategies ships near coast. Taking advantage flexibility perform numerical with HAWASSI software, aim investigating physical properties these cases, this investigates change in wave statistics related changes depth, breaking differences between long- short-crested Three types bathymetry are considered: run-up coast slope 1/20, a shoal, deep open-water Simulations show good agreement examined cases compared available experimental data simulations. Then predictive higher significant height illustrate may occur during storm events.

متن کاملSensitivity Study of a Simulated Winter Storm to WRF Model Physics over Complex Terrain
Several studies have examined the sensitivity of fronts and cyclones to model physics over the ocean or flat terrain in mesoscale models (e.g., Zhang et al. 1999). Nonetheless, fewer studies have examined the sensitivity of fronts and cyclones over complex terrain to model physics in the WRF model at very high resolution. Physics parameterizations in the WRF model, including multiple choices of...
متن کاملEffect of Simulated Dust Storm on some Bio-chemical features of Persian Oak (Quercus brantii Lindl.)
Extended abstract 1- Introduction Dust storm is a hazardous natural event affecting all creatures. (1). Due to the global warming drought, reduction in precipitation, and mismanagement in the water by humankind, the negative effects of this calamity were more observed (2). With increasing the wind speed, and based on the size of dust particles, land topography, soil humidity, vegetation cover...
متن کاملStudy of geomagnetic storm induced acoustic gravity waves over equatorial latitude
An attempt has been made to study the influence of geomagnetic storm on the tropospheric acoustic gravity waves at equatorial station, Tirunelveli (8.7°N, 77.8°E), India. The daily average of the amplitude and phase of acoustic gravity waves has been studied for the period 2000-2004. Severe geomagnetic storms occurred during April and September 2000, April 2001, October and November 2003 and No...

exploratory bouts in a novel environment? The only way to find out will be to record chronically across multiple units and cortical layers during the actual behavior and plasticity process. Finally, how such a shift in excitatory–inhibitory balance might be achieved is of interest. The brevity of the exploratory behavior required for bidirectional map changes is suggestive. Remarkably, just 4 m...
